Welcome to the Movement Collective

We provide movement practices that support learning through the innate wisdom of the body.

We curate creative containers to support embodied connection.

We believe natural expression ignites the possibility for healing, both individually and collectively.

Whether you are a seasoned mover or a newcomer, The Dallas Movement Collective welcomes you to this transformative space.

  • This movement is for everyone. No experience is necessary. Being human + having a body is your preparation.

Participants are invited to simply be themselves. This free-form movement is an opportunity to practice authentic expression. There's no wrong way to experience it, but always remember to respect others and seek consent in your interactions.

  • Yes! We are a multi-generational community. The presence of children is celebrated and those under 12 always dance for free. We ask that parents remain responsible for their children’s actions and behavior at all times.

Note: This excludes workshops, labs and immersions.

  • Ideally, all participants are a part of the opening and closing of events. For first timers, we feel it is necessary to attend the opening and closing circle to fully embrace and understand the practice. For regular attendees, the occasional need to arrive late and/or leave early is understandable.

  • We welcome proactive and prompt communication, the respectful questioning of leadership, and all other forms of inquiry. Please feel free to reach out through our contact page.

Healing is movement. If you put the body in motion, you will change.
